Here's Nick on Saturday, waterskiing for the first time at Green Peter Reservoir. He got up pretty easy and within an hour was talking about trying one ski. Sunday he gave one ski a couple tries but got frustrated and just wanted to get up. He did so good!
Then Sydney tried it and after a couple awful crashes she did it too! They both did very good for their first times trying!
The helicopter you see over Syd's head is a Erickson Sky Crane. They were using it to fight forest fires to the northeast of us. There were also a couple other helicopters with huge buckets, dipping into the lake for water to dump on the fires. We couldn't catch that happening to take pictures of. Bummer!
